Ingredients

  • 500 g yellow noodle, washed briskly with tap water

  • 2 pips garlic, chopped

  • 8 shallots, sliced

  • 1 cm shrimp paste

  • 2 tbsp chili powder

  • 100 g chicken meat

  • 5 tbsp chili sauce

  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce

  • 3 tbsp Indian curry powder

Suggested garnishing

  • 1 tomato, sliced

  • 2 green chilies, sliced

  • 1 stalk lettuce for leaves

  • peanut as toppings

Method

  1. Heat oil. Fry garlic and onions till golden.
  2. Stir in pounded chili powder, prawn paste.
  3. Fry till fragrant with curry aroma. Add in chicken meat.
  4. Fry till cook.
  5. Add in chili sauce, tomato sauce, Indian curry powder and fry till aromatic.
  6. Add in noodle. Fry for 3 minutes.
  7. Add in beaten egg. Stir fry.          
  8. Dish into serving plates.
  9. Garnish the noodle dish with spring onion and lemon wedge. Squeeze out and add the lemon juice and serve on banana leave.
