(Cook time 1 3/4 hr Serve 6)
Ingredients
1 tbsp oil
1 kg lamb drumsticks, chopped coarsely
2 onions, chopped
2 liters soup stock
3 tomato, chopped coarsely
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 cup barley, soaked overnight
1 potato, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
1 sticks celery, sliced
Method
| Heat
oil, fry lamb cubes for about 3 minutes till sides
are sealed, |
| Add
onions, fry till fragrant, then add tomato and fry
for 2 more minutes. |
| Add soup
stock, bring to boil, cover and then simmer over
slow fire for 1 hour. |
Leave in
fridge overnight.
Remove fat, bones and chop finely. |
| Bring
soup to boil, add meat, barley, potatoes, carrots
and celery. |
| Simmer
for another 30 min |
| Serve
with rice, bread, or as entre |
