                                                                                                                          Crab and squid, chili recipes  1  2  3 Crab and Pineapple Curry
(Cook time 25 min, serve 4)

Ingredients:
1/2 fresh pineapple, sliced.
1 kg crabs, cleaned and halved
Blend ingredients A till fine:
  A  5 shallots
3 cloves garlic
2 stalk coriander leaves
3 tbsp dried chili paste
5 bird's eye chili
1 stalk lemon grass

150ml cooking oil
500 ml water
70 ml low fat evaporated creamer
(Or 1 cup
coconut milk)
2 red chili, halved for decor

 

 
Method:
Heat oil, fry ingredients A over small low heat till fragrant (10 min).
Add in coconut milk and stir for another 3 minutes over small fire.
(If creamer is used instead of milk, add it later, together with water)
Stir in crabs vigorously over high heat until cooked (3 minutes)
Dish out cooked crabs, leaving other ingredients behind.
Add water, and creamer (if it is used) and bring to boil.
Add crabs back into the boil, add red chili.
Serve hot or cold.
Serve with rice, buns, noodle, spaghetti, ......delicious.
